About the role

  • Analyze and evaluate capital deployment opportunities across Radian’s insurance business
  • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to drive strategic decision-making across the Company
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and support key business initiatives
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate reinsurance structures for various insurance portfolios
  • Monitor insurance and reinsurance market trends, pricing, and capacity to inform decision-making
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 10 years of prior work related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced or specialized degree and/or certification preferred (MBA, CPCU, ARM)
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in insurance underwriting with exposure to multiple lines
  • At least 5 years of experience in reinsurance placement, strategy, or management
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex reinsurance contracts
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance and reinsurance regulations and best practices.
