• Manage the client’s NERC GOP Program by ensuring operational activities and compliance obligations are performed in accordance with NERC Reliability Standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and Regional Entities for all GOP‑related communications.
• Develop, maintain, and update GOP program documentation, including Operating Plans, procedures, Operating Guides, communication protocols.
• Evaluate real‑time and near‑real‑time operating responsibilities, including operating logs and outage coordination.
• Ensure timely reporting of operational events and internal event documentation.
• Coordinate and support control center activities, including operator readiness and procedure updates.
• Manage the client’s compliance evidence, ensuring accuracy and completeness to NERC GOP standards.
• Oversee training and competency programs for personnel performing generator operator duties.
• Conduct internal audits and performance assessments across all GOP-related activities.
• Support integration of new generating assets into the GOP program.
• Prepare the client for audits and compliance engagements, including data requests and self‑certifications.
• Maintain situational awareness of reliability risks and operational issues.
