About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for sales & use and property tax calculations and compliance
Manage tax audits, tax account reconciliations, and tax research
Review sales & use and property tax calculations
Coordinates with external tax advisors
Investigates and prepares responses to notices from taxing authorities
Perform tax research and analysis for support tax positions taken
Manage or assist with tax audits as needed
Review calculations for journal entry postings and account reconciliations
Ongoing development of technical knowledge of applicable tax laws

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required
Master's degree preferred
CPA or equivalent preferred
8 - 10 years of relevant work experience required
A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct people management required
ERP experience a plus
Experience in Public Accounting, Big 4, and Corporate Accounting preferred
