About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS
Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies
Create automation tools and processes to improve day to day functions
Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture
Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise
Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks
Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services, Compute, Storage, Security, networking
Proficient skills in Python, Linux, Shell scripting
Proficient skills with git and git workflows
Excellent working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC, including CI/CD practices
Solid hands-on in Kubernetes & ELK
Knowledge of at least one configuration management system (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
Experienced in solutioning and implementation of Green field projects leveraging IaaS, PaaS for Primary site and DR.
