About the role

Set up networking connections between Azure and on-prem environments and to AWS
Containerization, automation and scripting of infrastructure as code, configuration and integration of services, monitoring, and stability of the management infrastructure
Develop hardened machine images (e.g., Azure VM), ensure STIG compliance, and build custom services to facilitate security inheritance
Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain software and IaC in a DevSecOps continuous delivery environment
Deploy and manage Platform-as-a-Service technologies such as Kubernetes and Azure Landing Zones
Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, recommend changes, and function as a technical expert (may supervise others)

Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance required
Must be located within a 120-mile radius of Charlottesville, VA and work hybrid 4–6 times per month
7 years software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash preferred)
6 months provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as terraform
2+ years working with Platform as a Service technologies such as Kubernetes
1+ year deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Experience operating with AWS
Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security+ and a cloud service provider certification
Experience with containerization, automation, scripting, configuration and integration of services, monitoring, and stability of management infrastructure
Experience developing hardened machine images (e.g. Azure VM) and ensuring STIG compliance
Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (6 years of experience may substitute), updated Azure/AWS certification, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Networking
