About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute Test Plans across BAU activities and selected projects
Design test cases and prepare test procedures, test conditions and test cases
Test functional specifications, interfaces and reporting solutions
Review business process documentation and other testing deliverables
Support the team to meet testing milestones and project deadlines
Proactively identify and communicate testing risks, issues and delays
Use Quality Centre to monitor testing progress and manage defects
Maintain test documentation and provide accurate, timely reporting
Conduct Systems Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Operations Acceptance Testing
Work closely with development and technical teams to understand business and functional requirements and deliver high-quality testing outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years' testing experience within banking or a similar environment
Experience with Azure Data Factory / Data Lake, Power BI and API Testing
Ability to validate business rules, aggregation logic, and reporting outputs
Ability to relate test objectives back to user requirements and product risks
Knowledge of retail banking and compliance requirements
Strong analytical skills
Working knowledge of MS SQL Server
Working knowledge of HP SaaS Quality Centre / OpenText ALM/Quality Centre
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ISTQB certification or equivalent highly regarded
Experience working in an Agile or iterative development and testing environment highly regarded
