About the role
- Develop and implement workout strategies on an assigned portfolio of highly complex problem loans
- Establish and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to manage risk for the bank and coach clients
- Coordinate the semi-annual Loan Strategy Report cycles and ensure timely preparation and presentation
- Comply with laws, regulations and internal policies applicable to Financial Restructuring
- Work with RAF Legal and outside counsel to achieve timely and quality loan restructuring results
- Coach and counsel colleagues on Financial Restructuring loans and issues
- Understand loan relationships, assessing classification downgrades, devising and implementing rehabilitation plans for credit
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience in loan restructuring and risk management
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to analyze simple to complex financial statements to evaluate the financial stability of an entity or individual
- Establish and build strong working relationships with clients and others that may be challenging to work with
- Ability to travel regionally, up to 50%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
