About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and maintain strategic relationships with regulatory agencies across the United States
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators and coordinate communication across all North America entities
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of regulatory examinations, ensuring readiness and consistency
- Manage responses to regulatory inquiries, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery
- Guide the preparation and quality assurance of materials submitted to regulators
- Drive exam readiness efforts by conducting assessments and identifying areas for improvement
- Track, report, and oversee remediation of regulatory findings and ensure progress is centrally documented
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory expectations
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on regulatory trends, exam outcomes, and emerging risks
- Enhance processes and protocols for regulatory engagement to promote consistency, transparency, and operational efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and supervisory processes
- Proven ability to engage effectively with regulatory agencies and senior stakeholders
- Ability to travel regionally
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
