Key responsibilities & impact

As a Tech Lead, you combine technical understanding with a strong helicopter view: you grasp engineering details while continuously steering toward the broader area ambition.
Ensure the right skills, processes and squads are in place to deliver on the Tech4Ops vision.
Take on a broad HR and people‑leadership responsibility for around 40 internal and external colleagues.
Bring clarity in expectations and development, safeguard well‑being, and foster a safe, inclusive, and performance‑driven environment.
Amplify the strengths of others by giving ownership, challenging with intent, and helping teams make their best thinking visible.
Enable rather than direct, raise collective intelligence and unlock potential.
Navigate context effectively and make things happen while keeping people and purpose at the center.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expertise in observability stacks, monitoring platforms, and telemetry frameworks (metrics/logs/traces)
Strong (DevOps) engineering foundation (having Beta brains): Cloud platforms, automation, scripting, pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Courage and ownership: you take initiative, challenge norms, and move the organization forward.
Strong coaching skills: you help teams grow in autonomy, engineering quality, and decision‑making.
Academic working and thinking level, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Conceptual clarity: you simplify complexity, recognize patterns, and act with contextual awareness.
You work in a data‑driven manner to strengthen leadership decisions, define strategy, and execute it in a structured and systematic way.
