About the role
- Guide Tribes and Service Centers in integrating risk management into daily operations
- Advise stakeholders, support risk-based decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Foster ownership and continuous improvement to strengthen Rabobank’s risk culture
- Implement and monitor risk and control activities based on internal and external regulations
- Execute the annual control cycle, including validation and follow-up of proposed actions
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as control and process owners to challenge and improve risk practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (e.g. Finance, business, economics, compliance & risk management)
- An understanding of Risk Management within the financial services industry and related regulatory standards
- An understanding of banking, finance operations and Markets and Treasury
- A knowledge of causes, influences and drivers of operational risk
- Experience in managing risk, evaluating risk and reviewing risk
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing stakeholders and have experience dealing with senior management
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Analytically strong and focus on improvements with a focus on delivering quality
- Result-oriented who likes to work in a team
