About the role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into clear analytic requirements
- Document functional and technical specifications for analytics projects
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
- Spearhead large-scale data integration projects, enhance decision-making through actionable insights and significantly reduce processing times
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and analytics deliverables
- Facilitate regular status meetings and reporting
- Provide clear updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a lead when collaborating with data analysts, data engineers, and business teams to ensure timely delivery
- Remove roadblocks and monitor daily tasks to ensure timely completion
- Simultaneously manage priorities and workloads across multiple projects
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to data governance and compliance requirements
- Document processes, decisions, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned
- Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, and executive summaries
- Communicate complex analytics concepts in a clear and actionable manner
- Manage and maintain an updated document library
- Update data flows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science or related field, required; Master’s degree, preferred
- PMP or Agile certification, preferred
- 5 years of experience in a Project Manager or equivalent role required; preferably in analytic or data-driven environments
- Ability to operate successfully with strategic and tactical level issues
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, with a focus on sprint planning, JIRA management, and stakeholder communication
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
- Understanding of analytics concepts, data visualization, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
