About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, deploy, and operate AKS clusters
- Own Azure infrastructure provisioning through Terraform (IaC)
- Build and operate GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD
- Operate the platform’s observability stack
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
- Respond to incidents promptly and lead root cause analysis
- Implement security controls in Azure
- Document operational runbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting and operating workloads on Microsoft Azure
- 3+ years of production experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Strong Terraform skills
- Production experience with ArgoCD
- Production experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash and Python
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex production issues
- Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
