About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, deploy, and operate AKS clusters
  • Own Azure infrastructure provisioning through Terraform (IaC)
  • Build and operate GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD
  • Operate the platform’s observability stack
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
  • Respond to incidents promptly and lead root cause analysis
  • Implement security controls in Azure
  • Document operational runbooks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting and operating workloads on Microsoft Azure
  • 3+ years of production experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Strong Terraform skills
  • Production experience with ArgoCD
  • Production experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash and Python
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex production issues
  • Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
