About the role
- Manage the data ingestion process from client delivery to system integration to support new clients for R1
- Own complex client implementations from a data perspective — acquiring, importing, validating data and preparing proprietary systems and platforms ready for go-live
- Manage the relationship with client IT teams to collaboratively work towards data that meets data specifications
- Apply a deep understanding of healthcare data to solve problems for internal and external stakeholders
- Perform data research and analysis — writing queries, analyzing results, identifying trends
- Create reports around system performance (rules engine), client data trends and other business needs
- Communicate/present research results to non-technical stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Serve as a technical mentor to Data Operation Analysts on the team
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical environment
- SQL (or similar) and SSIS mastery
- Experience managing data pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to learn and master new tools and processes
- Ability to identify problems and ideate on how to improve/fix issues impacting the team and/or clients
- Detail oriented, organized, exercise good judgement, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize own work
- Ability to partner and collaborate closely with both internal and external project/operational stakeholders and provide excellent communication to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and teams
- Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and an inquisitive attitude
