About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead accounting audit engagements for national and multinational clients;
Plan, perform and review external audit work;
Review financial statements and accounting reports;
Maintain direct client relationships, ensuring a high level of quality, close collaboration and client satisfaction;
Participate in executive meetings, presentations and technical discussions with clients and stakeholders;
Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities with current and prospective clients;
Participate in preparing commercial proposals, negotiations and developing new relationships;
Coordinate and develop technical teams, promoting alignment, training and performance monitoring;
Ensure the technical quality of engagements, adherence to deadlines and operational efficiency;
Work collaboratively with partners, regional leadership and international teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with active CRC registration (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade)
Solid experience in External Audit, with involvement in different stages of audit engagements
In-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards; experience assessing internal controls and reviewing working papers. Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) will be considered a plus
Experience in client relationship management and team leadership
Fluent English
Analytical, interpersonal and strategic mindset
Availability to travel as required by projects and clients.
