About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in national and international M&A transactions on both the sell-side and buy-side throughout the entire transaction process
- Prepare and compile transaction-relevant documents, in particular teasers, information memoranda, pitch materials, management presentations and other related documents
- Build financial models, perform company valuations and analyze markets, business models, companies and competitors
- Support due diligence processes as well as set up and manage virtual data rooms and coordinate Q&A processes
- Support business development activities, especially through industry and investor screenings, financial analyses and the preparation of pitch and marketing materials
- Work directly with partners and experienced colleagues on active mandates
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in economics, business administration or a related field with above-average results, ideally with a focus on finance
- Initial relevant practical experience through internships in M&A, corporate finance, transaction services, private equity or strategy consulting
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
- High level of commitment, resilience and professional appearance
- Independent, structured and meticulous working style with a strong focus on quality
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
