About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Preparation of integrated corporate and liquidity plans, as well as turnaround concepts and restructuring reports (IDW S6)
  • Advising and supporting our clients in out-of-court restructurings as well as in court-led restructuring and insolvency proceedings, particularly in self-administration (Eigenverwaltung) procedures
  • Analyzing business models to identify causes of distress and developing viable restructuring and turnaround measures
  • Independent project management and direct collaboration with clients, management teams, lenders and other relevant stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in economics/business administration with above‑average results, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Controlling and/or Corporate Finance, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in restructuring, turnaround or transaction advisory, in an audit/advisory firm, a bank, or in a comparable role
  • Ability to independently prepare and validate integrated corporate plans and short‑term liquidity forecasts, including using specialized tools such as LucaNet
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a confident and professional demeanor
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills and very good German and English language skills
