About the role

  • Independent, timely preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax law
  • Preparation of tax returns, including income tax returns, income-surplus statements (Einnahme-Überschuss-Rechnung, EÜR) and electronic balance sheets (E-Bilanz)
  • Review of tax assessments, deadline monitoring and preparation of appeals
  • Advising on and resolving complex business and tax-related issues, independent client engagement management and correspondence with authorities and public offices

Requirements

  • Completed advanced training as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) (Bachelor Professional in Accounting)
  • Solid knowledge of German tax law and commercial law (HGB)
  • Motivation to contribute to national and international projects
  • Very good knowledge of DATEV and MS Office applications
  • Confident command of spoken and written German
