About the role
- Functional and disciplinary leadership, development and coaching of the team
- Development and management of strategies for IT procurement and IT contract management
- Point of contact for business units on contractual, licensing and procurement-related questions; interface to the legal department
- Responsibility for operational IT purchasing (hardware, software, IT services, mobile communications), including price and contract negotiations
- Support in supplier selection and supplier management, conducting evaluations and potential analyses
- Further development, optimization and digitalization of procurement and contract management processes, policies and interfaces
- Support for the implementation of SAP Ariba
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or law, or a commercial vocational qualification with additional legal training
- Several years of professional experience as a team leader in IT procurement or comparable areas
- Strong IT affinity and technical understanding of hardware, software and communications solutions
- Solid knowledge of contract law, contract management, IT procurement and, ideally, IT license management
- Experience in an international environment and working with internal and external stakeholders
- Confident, professional demeanour with strong communication and organizational skills
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
- Strong negotiation skills, cost awareness, resilience and flexibility
- Proficient in MS Office and business-fluent German and English
