About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

System administration for VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office 365, Citrix, NetApp storage, backup systems and telephone systems
Design, installation and maintenance of our Microsoft server operating systems in a virtual environment
Ensuring 24/7 system availability
Participation in IT projects as well as cross-departmental projects within the corporate group
Handling incoming IT incidents in 2nd-level support
Supporting employees with IT issues in the business units
Planning and coordination of external service providers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer science or completed vocational training in IT
Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems, MS Exchange, server virtualization (VMware), firewalls, Citrix and networking technologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN)
Willingness and commitment to take responsibility to develop new, innovative and sustainable solutions
Strong communication skills, openness and a friendly manner
Willingness to travel occasionally (Wismar site) and to be on-call.
