Sales Manager

About the role

- Drive growth.
- Identify, approach and acquire new customers within defined target markets and industries.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs and business opportunities.
- Build and develop a strong sales pipeline to support sustainable growth.
- Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term customer relationships.
- Develop existing customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives across products and services.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to customers.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing and contract terms.
- Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through successful closing.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of business opportunities.
- Maintain complete and transparent customer documentation in the CRM system.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Project Management and other internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate customer requirements and support successful project execution.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey.
- Support problem-solving and escalation management when required.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings.
- Deliver professional customer presentations and business discussions.
- Strengthen the company's market presence and industry network.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of proven B2B sales experience
- Ideally experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical packaging, CDMO/contract manufacturing, life sciences or another highly regulated industry
- Proven success in new business acquisition and customer development
- Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management
- Strong CRM and MS Office skills
- Business fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe (up to 70%)
