About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as technical lead of the Web Applications Platform team
Build and maintain shared services, including authentication/identity and configuration
Own the build and deployment path into each hospital customer's isolated environment
Set technical direction and own the roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders
Write code or configurations as needed
Lead cross-team efforts and make architectural choices affecting multiple applications
Define standards, context, and guardrails for AI coding tools to support secure and compliant code and applications
Report to an engineering manager responsible for team health and career growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building and operating production software
Experience on a platform, infrastructure, internal tools, or developer-facing team
Strong Python, Django, and FastAPI skills
Real depth in Kubernetes and GitOps delivery (Helm, ArgoCD)
Experience owning an authentication / authorization system
Excellent project management skills: breaking down, estimating, sequencing, and communicating about work in progress
Clear written and verbal communication; influential beyond one team
Employment contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background investigation and drug test
