About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate robot cameras and studio cameras, including pedestal, crane, and handheld cameras, for live-program production
- Perform camera operation and insert shooting for QVC Japan
- Use technical camera expertise and expressive skills to create distinctive value in assigned program filming
- Perform minor technical duties in the live control room (LC)
- When assigned as switcher, take responsibility for outgoing video and ensure smooth live-stream progression
- When assigned to audio, prioritize balancing presenters’ audio and cue background music and sound effects appropriately
- Select, operate, and shoot with equipment such as cameras, filters, and specialty equipment for insert filming
- Manage production equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge and technical skills related to video equipment
- Ability to respond appropriately and make decisions when equipment problems occur
- Communication skills for collaborating with the live control room, studio staff, and production team
- Availability for early-morning and late-night shift work
- Three or more years of practical experience related to broadcasting, especially video, is preferred
