About the role
- Develop complex reporting that requires integration of data from different sources
- Implement recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Work with team leader and senior-level partners to understand requirements and provide insights
- Provide expertise and research to shape business strategies for QVC and HSN
- Analyze data and provide thoughtful commentary and recommendations to management
- Build queries and data collection processes using SQL and SQL-related tools
- Create automated reporting to support business priorities
- Establish integrated and efficient reporting processes, tools, and metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
- 3+ years reporting and analytical experience within a Merchandising/Retail environment
- 3+ years experience with financial data analysis
- Advanced skills with BI tools (MicroStrategy)
- Advanced skills with data visualization tools (Tableau)
- 3+ years experience writing SQL (oracle, Teradata, Netezza, etc.)
- 3+ years experience with data storytelling
- Ability to build queries, data collection and data validation
- Experience creating automated reporting and metrics
- Hybrid-remote work at West Chester, PA office (remote not permitted in NYC)
