About the role
- responsible for elevating guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of the complimentary design service
- partnership with other Design Consultants to promote external outreach within the community
- champion of guest engagement for inspiring shopping events
- report to the Store Leader
- provide design expertise for scheduled appointments, virtual appointments, and 'on-demand' design time
- identify and network with local organizations for Design Solutions services
- support the retail store team with varied responsibilities including order entry, visual floorsets, and product training activities
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning
- space planning skills
- employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans
- conduct home visits with established guests and a valid driver's license
- available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
