About the role
- Act as the subject-matter expert (SME) on inventory, pricing, and programming analytics, providing analysis and predictive financial modeling to support key business decisions
- Partner with the business to define, assess, and execute merchandising and promotional strategies leveraging a broad view of financial implications, historical facts and thoughtful analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including merchandising, planning, and programming) to drive business performance and support financial plans
- Build strong relationships with business partners by providing insights and information that drive business performance
- Provide financial analysis, modeling and advisory services to assigned business unit.
- Identify opportunities to maximize return on investment related to business initiatives / strategies.
Requirements
- High level of interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Exceptional analytical and technical skills
- Advanced SQL and data mining skills
- Ability to work independently and interface with multiple management levels and multiple areas of the company across the globe
- Solid understanding of Merchandising and retail business
