About the role

  • Supports QVC and is responsible for inbound or outbound operations
  • Maintains benchmark levels of safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, continuous improvement within the building and throughout the supply chain
  • Supports the team on days
  • Builds the initial teams, establishing procedures, metrics and processes
  • Leads a team of Area Managers and hourly associates
  • Develops and administers operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Guides strategic planning and forecasting
  • Develops teammates for career progression and learning
  • Improves safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouse
  • Uses the site Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectiveness

Requirements

  • 4+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations; prefer retail/e-commerce and apparel experience.
  • Experience developing and managing 30+ employees.
  • At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment.
  • Experience using Kaizens or process improvement.
  • B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent additional experience.
