About the role
- Ensure an efficient and smooth operational workflow across up to three shifts.
- Plan and manage staff deployment, including coverage for special events.
- Lead, develop, and support employees to promote a positive working climate.
- Conduct and document employee discussions (feedback, welfare, criticism, goal setting).
- Collaborate closely across departments and serve as the primary contact for operational issues.
- Ensure accurate reporting and the achievement of relevant KPIs and targets.
Requirements
- University degree (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain) or alternatively at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role.
- Leadership experience managing operational teams in a warehouse environment.
- Solid expertise in quality and process control, organization, workflows, and warehouse systems.
- Basic business administration knowledge and experience with incentive schemes, flexible working-time models, and Lean Management.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, inventory/warehouse management systems).
- Advanced German language skills and desirable English language skills, both written and spoken.
