About the role
- Be the subject matter expert by leading data analysis and vendor reconciliations within the Accounts Payable Department
- Perform a variety of research activities and support multiple functions to develop and support strategic initiatives
- Use your working knowledge of multiple A/P systems and SOPs to manage tasks, provide creative solutions and implement projects
- Own the creation of standard work processes, user procedures, guidelines, and documentation with management's approval
- Support internal audit and SOX requests by performing associated/assigned tasks
- Lead the review of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are met each month and quarter
- Help develop improved dashboards for direct, indirect and vendor master data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or related field, or 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- 3+ years experience using analytical and research skills with an ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root causes, and address data integrity issues
- 3+ years experience using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel) is required
- 3+ years of experience with large data set analysis in MS Excel (can perform complex functions) or similar software
