About the role
- Responsible for occupational safety, health protection and environmental protection at all QVC locations in Germany: Hückelhoven, Düsseldorf and Kassel
- Advise senior management and line managers on all EHS matters and monitor legal requirements
- Further develop and optimize EHS processes such as risk assessments, incident analyses and audits
- Lead and develop the EHS team, including setting objectives and performance management
- Prepare reports, moderate workplace safety committees and work closely with authorities and statutory accident insurance institutions (Berufsgenossenschaften)
Requirements
- Master’s degree or diploma in a technical field and qualification as a Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) or comparable training
- At least 5 years of professional and managerial experience in the EHS field, ideally across multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety, health protection and environmental protection, and advanced IT skills (MS Office)
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, excellent communication and organizational abilities
