Director, Clinical Documentation Integrity
Quorum HealthDirector of Clinical Documentation Integrity overseeing CDI strategies and team management. Ensuring regulatory compliance while optimizing clinical documentation for Mid Revenue Cycle initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead CDI strategy, planning, development, implementation and maintenance of CDI program.
- Manage projects associated with Mid Revenue Cycle and CDI initiatives.
- Maintain processes aligned with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Direct and manage the Clinical Documentation Integrity team.
- Collaborate with Coding and HIM leadership to maximize outcomes.
- Promote physician and provider education, engagement and collaboration.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from a Nursing program, BSN, or Clinical area of study.
- Master Degree in clinical, business, or leadership course of study required.
- Current state Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in CDI is strongly preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in a clinical course; 2-3 years’ experience in management.
- Clinical documentation experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
- Must be board certified and have a sound understanding of clinical documentation concepts.
