About the role
- The Cloud Architect will build cloud solutions, maintain, and utilize secure virtual environments to create streamlined operations for companies. The main tasks involve supporting the implementation of innovative cloud computing solutions and solving technical problems, helping customers understand application architectures and integration approaches. Together with the Team Lead, the Cloud Architect helps companies migrate their information and services into the cloud, ensuring that services remain uninterrupted throughout the migration process.
- The main responsibilities include providing design input and drafting Cloud architectures, collaborating with a team of Cloud consultants on project implementations, and maintaining existing cloud environments. The role requires the ability to assess technical challenges, contribute to system improvements, and support the delivery of high‑quality cloud solutions aligned with customer needs.
Requirements
- **Experience & Technical Skills**
- - **Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems**.
- - **Basic understanding of hypervisors** such as **KVM, VMware, or Hyper‑V**, or willingness and ability to learn.
- - **Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud** (mandatory).
- - Ability to **support cloud solution implementations**, maintain environments, and contribute to cloud design drafting.
- - Comfortable working within a **small, rapidly growing team**.
- **Education & Location**
- - **HBO degree** or equivalent professional experience/working level.
- - Must be **located in Europe**.
- - **Fully remote role**, with the option to travel to the office in Bergen op Zoom.
- - Willingness and ability to **travel for work**, both within Europe and internationally.
- **Language Skills**
- - **Fluent English**, both spoken and written.
- **Competencies**
