About the role
- Manage and grow beef sales across the assigned region, ensuring revenue and margin goals are achieved.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and distribution partners.
- Lead, mentor, and support sales teams within the region to achieve performance objectives and maintain high customer service standards.
- Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure consistent product availability and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage regional P&L performance, budgets, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent Quirch Foods at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and business relationships.
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives specific to the beef category and regional market needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in beef sales, food distribution, or protein category management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional management role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of the beef industry, including sourcing, pricing, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned region.
