About the role
- As Product Owner you are the driving force behind our product vision.
- You shape, prioritize, and optimize our Product Backlog and ensure we deliver the greatest possible value to our customers.
- You work closely with our Scrum Team, stakeholders, and customers — always keeping the big picture in mind.
- You support and guide our teams from concept and planning through implementation and the operation of our excellent products and their processes.
- You plan and communicate key product developments via roadmaps.
- You are the first point of contact for our customers in urgent situations and ensure problems are resolved quickly and sustainably.
- You align stakeholders’ interests with those of our teams.
- You create crystal-clear priorities in your backlogs by making well-founded decisions and effectively leveraging our PMO services to maximize efficiency.
- You establish and use KPI-based early-warning systems to continuously monitor product costs and schedules.
- You proactively identify risks and ensure transparent decisions and sustainable success through clear communication.
- Your goal is to maximize your teams’ value contribution — to do so you balance topics, clarify, coordinate, prioritize, remove blockers, and celebrate successes with the teams.
Requirements
- Industry insider: Ideally you have experience in tourism or related industries and the ability to quickly immerse yourself in and get excited about complex domains.
- Strategic compass: You are forward-looking and able to develop a clear product vision and operationalize strategic goals.
- Dialogue conductor: As an accomplished communicator you orchestrate exchange between diverse stakeholders and teams and build bridges to achieve alignment.
- Insight seeker: Your insatiable curiosity drives you to proactively ask the right questions and develop deep understanding of complex technical and business challenges.
