About the role

  • Define and maintain the platform strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision across internal and external stakeholders, developing clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and platform-level KPIs.

  • Ensure a smooth self-service experience across APIs, SDKs, deployments, and configuration tools.
  • Conduct user research, shadow customers, analyze data, and synthesize information from customer-facing teams to develop deep user empathy and inform product decisions.

  • Serve as the go-to expert on the product, the market, the competition, and the customers.
  • Communicate effectively and drive cross-functional alignment with stakeholders at all levels, from engineering teams to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, infrastructure, or complex technical SaaS platforms.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher required; TS/SCI preferred).

  • Experience with secure or regulated deployments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, on-prem, C2S/C2E, or IL-enclave environments).
  • Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Strong technical background with understanding of distributed systems, cloud architectures, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and system design fundamentals.
  • Experience with API and SDK lifecycle management, documentation, and developer experience optimization.
  • Familiarity with reliability concepts such as SLIs/SLOs, incident response, observability, and performance engineering.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional leadership, and prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
