About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage end-to-end import shipments for a variety of products (raw materials / chemical products / finished goods) and different Incoterms.
Perform follow-up with logistics partners (shipping lines / freight forwarders / terminals / customs brokers / customs-bonded warehouses and inland port facilities) to ensure the SLAs contracted with each link in the chain are met.
Work to ensure shipments occur within required timeframes through KPIs and ongoing communication with internal interface areas, logistics partners, and the exporter.
Verify and record in the system all operational expenses related to the import process, ensuring suppliers are paid on time and that all expenses have been allocated to the process.
Review import documentation to ensure the process complies with the Customs Regulations.
Control the submission of import documentation to customs brokers (Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, cubic volume calculation, and space reservation/booking).
Follow established routines with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade / Business Administration with Foreign Trade / International Relations and/or related fields.
Prior experience with the activities described in the role is desirable.
Intermediate English and Spanish.
Advantage: Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP and OSGT systems; Power BI.
