Junior 3D Designer – Affirmative Action for People with Disabilities

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Product Design team in developing footwear, components, and accessories, from concept through refinement of proposals;
- Create 3D models and visualizations under team guidance, ensuring visual quality, technical accuracy, and alignment with the product concept;
- Explore generative AI tools to support ideation, variation studies, and the evolution of creative proposals;
- Contribute to the creation of physical prototypes, including 3D printing, for concept validation and internal presentations;
- Assist in preparing CAD files and basic technical documentation to support product development;
- Support production feasibility analyses, identifying possible technical adjustments with guidance from the team;
- Collaborate with partner areas such as technical modeling, engineering, and tooling/mold-making to develop an integrated view of the product development process;
- Communicate concepts, design intent, technical limitations, and opportunities for improvement clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Participate in internal projects and initiatives, progressively expanding technical skills and autonomy;
- Stay up to date with trends, materials, technologies, and innovations relevant to footwear design and development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or related fields (completed);
- Experience in 3D design (academic, internship, or professional), including footwear development (closed-toe styles, open styles, or sandals);
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of 3D/polygonal modeling;
- Familiarity with tools such as Blender, Rhino, NX, Maya, or similar software;
- Ability to develop visual designs in 2D and 3D;
- Understanding of rendering and material creation;
- Basic knowledge of materials such as EVA, TPU, PVC, TPE, ABS, rubber, and similar materials;
- Interest in manufacturing processes and technical requirements for footwear;
- Intermediate English (or actively developing);
- Up-to-date portfolio demonstrating creative potential, technical capability, and progress in 3D modeling.
- Differentials:
- Knowledge of 3D CAD applied to the technical development of footwear;
- Experience with 3D printing or rapid prototyping;
- Familiarity with generative AI tools applied to design;
- Interest in innovation, trends, and new technologies.
