About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead monthly close process (record necessary Journal Entries, Accruals, etc.)
Work with business partners to ensure month-end financials are within expectations
Build/Consolidate monthly reporting files for freight, warehousing, headcount, scrap, savings, and all other major SC KPI's
Review actual monthly performance against budgets and provide variance commentary
Support budget and forecasting cycle and analysis (AOP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3)
Serve as primary finance partner to the US Supply Chain Team
Support Global Supply Chain team as needed to standardize reporting
Enhance existing reporting tools and models to streamline reporting cycles
Complete FP&A and Global Ops Finance requests
Assist with process/continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Familiarity with UK and US GAAP
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills
Ability to create complex financial models
Intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
Ability to work well in a dynamic environment
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
University Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
5 years of prior relevant experience in financial & management accounting
Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) preferred
Degree Level Qualified (preferably within Accounting or Finance area)
