About the role
- Operate forklifts to move packages and materials around warehouse facilities
- Drive around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities to position materials for maximum efficiency
- Unload incoming vehicles and stack materials in assigned places
- Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery and perform regular maintenance to ensure safety
- Maintain inventory records and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines and help maintain a safe, orderly facility environment
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts and industrial vehicles
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance to guarantee safety
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles
