Infrastructure Engineer

• Design, deploy, and manage production-ready clusters across multiple database technologies (Scylla, Postgres, Dragonfly, ClickHouse, etc.)
• Build automation, tooling, and infrastructure-as-code to streamline lifecycle management of databases, including provisioning, scaling, backup/restore, upgrades, and failover
• Tune Linux systems, filesystems, and storage to optimize database performance and reliability
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks at the system, storage, and database layers
• Research and evaluate emerging database technologies to support future workloads and advise on their adoption
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure database deployments align with application requirements while maintaining reliability and efficiency
• Develop and maintain documentation for operational practices, playbooks, and database infrastructure standards.
