About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing trade mark portfolios and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records in internal databases
- Maintaining full oversight of portfolios and proactively flagging risks, deadlines and next steps
- Preparing and filing trade mark applications, renewals and recordals
- Preparing and handling correspondence, emails and instructions to and from clients and foreign agents and IP offices
- Preparing draft agreements and documents for consultants (e.g. procedural letters, instructions, standard undertakings)
- Supporting invoicing, reporting and portfolio reviews
- Drafting and responding to office actions, depending on experience and confidence level
- Providing procedural and “light” legal input to consultants and supporting them on day‑to‑day matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- You already have a solid experience in trade mark administration and paralegal work and you enjoy working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a supportive working environment
- Proven ability to prepare correspondence and documents for consultants autonomously and with a minimum of supervision
- Confidence in handling international portfolios and liaising with agents and clients
- Excellent command of the English & Dutch, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French of advantage.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented and structured, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Self‑directed, proactive and comfortable working with delegated responsibility
