About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, maintain and repair telecommunications and electronic equipment
- Ensure all work complies with technical and operational specifications
- Ensure all work complies with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain records and associated documentation
- Report actual work performed against the scheduled maintenance program
- Travel away and work in varied locations across regional Queensland
- Support the safe and efficient operation of telecommunications and electronic equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience with radio and transmission systems and remote monitoring equipment
- Sound skill in installing, maintaining and fault-rectifying telecommunications equipment and systems
- Electronics Trade Certificate required; similar electronics qualifications considered
- Unrestricted Driver’s License
- Ability to travel away and work across regional Queensland
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
- Ability to work safely in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Qualifications and experience relevant to the base salary level
