About the role
- Undertake design verification and reviews.
- Provide technical guidance as a railway signal engineering specialist.
- Support signalling project delivery through the entire project life cycle.
- Work closely with other Railway Signal Engineering lifecycle roles.
- Build strong business relationships with rail operations stakeholders and project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic).
- Registered Professional Engineering Queensland (RPEQ).
- Extensive industry experience in railway Signalling Design or technical Project Engineering roles.
- Analytical skills including critical thinking, data analysis, and research.
- Ability to identify and solve complex issues directly and lead other Professional Engineers.
- High level of team, stakeholder, and contractor engagement communication skills.
- Independence and ability to operate without direct supervision and exercise initiative.
- Big picture thinker - solutions and outcome driven with future vision.
