About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver IFU/TFK projects supporting Ukraine, including equipment specification, assessment, and acceptance
Deliver engineering activities for Urgent Capability Requirements, including market engagement, requirements writing, tender documentation, tender assessment, and equipment acceptance
Provide direct user support where required
Support the in-service SYNERGIA C-UAS system
Develop the next-generation PRESAGIUM C-UAS system, currently in Concept
Produce Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, and Basis of Estimate to support project planning and scheduling
Produce Requirements Documents
Develop Systems Engineering artefacts, including MBSE models
Develop Safety and Environmental Cases
Work within the GBAD & Weapon Locating team across Ops and specialist C-UAS projects
Attend MOD Abbey Wood and meetings at other UK locations 2-3 days per week

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current SC Security Clearance required
UK Nationals only
UK Driver's Licence
Experience writing technical requirements
Experience with tender assessment and acceptance testing (V&V)
Knowledge of defence equipment and projects
Self-starter able to work without direct supervision
Ability to work at Abbey Wood and attend meetings at UK locations 2-3 days per week
Desired: UCR and/or IFU/TFK/Ukraine support experience
Desired: Experience working with NA-M (DE&S) and Front Line Commands
Desired: Sensors and/or C-UAS domain experience
Desired: Knowledge of integration protocols such as SAPIENT
