• Lead and coordinate safety management activity across elements of the Multi-Helicopter Delivery portfolio.

• Support lifecycle considerations including modification, sustainment and disposal planning from a safety and compliance standpoint.

Senior Safety Manager – Multi-Helicopter Delivery Platform

• Generate, update, review and endorse technical safety requirements and artefacts.
• Develop, manage and maintain effective Safety Management Systems.
• Identify and analyse hazards, evaluate risk reduction measures and ensure these are adequately documented and managed.
• Provide informed safety engineering advice across environmental and technical themes.
• Support Project Safety Panels and contribute to acquisition decision making.
• Manage contractual safety requirements and oversight of contractor safety activities.
• Support verification, validation, testing and evaluation of safety aspects.
• Develop and maintain safety assurance plans and support safety case preparation.

Safety Manager

Engineer

• Own the generation, review and endorsement of technical safety requirements, documentation and safety artefacts.
• Develop, manage and maintain Safety Management Systems, including hazard identification, analysis and risk reduction measures.
• Provide acquisition safety engineering advice and guidance to delivery teams and decision makers, including Project Safety Panels.

Safety Engineer – MFTS

Full-stack Engineer

• Provide senior engineering leadership and technical oversight across assigned Lethality and Protect activities.
• Support delivery teams by providing engineering assurance, advice and decision support.
• Manage and coordinate engineering activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Support planning, prioritisation and execution of engineering work in line with programme objectives.
• Ensure engineering outputs comply with relevant standards, regulations and governance processes.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and risks.
• Contribute to reporting, governance and management activity within the wider engineering function.

Principal Engineer – Lethality and Protect

Electrical Engineer

• Own the generation of electronics requirements and associated technical deliverables and documentation.
• Identify and analyse electronics hazards and project impacts, contributing to risk reduction measures.
• Manage the design of electronics systems, components or processes to meet customer requirements within time, cost and performance constraints.
• Manage electronics test, verification, validation and evaluation activities across the system lifecycle.

Electronics Engineer

• Development of Equipment Contribution Logs for Brakestop platforms
• Supporting and contributing to Equipment Contribution Working Groups
• Drafting Equipment Contribution Interface Declarations
• Supporting development of Brakestop Safety Assessments using SORA
• Providing Technical Airworthiness Authority SORA safety assessment contributions
• Supporting development of Safety Management Plan annexes
• Supporting safety meetings as required, including TAwSP, PSG/PSP and ESRs
• Producing safety briefings and slide packs for assurance and review meetings

Catalyst Safety Engineer

• Own the generation of ESS (Electronic Systems & Sensors) requirements, defining technical deliverables and updating documentation for systems, considering in-service support.
• Manage the design of systems, components, or processes to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and analyse technical hazards and contribute to risk reduction measures, ensuring they are adequately documented.
• Manage the system’s ESS test, verification, validation, and evaluation processes.

Electronic Systems & Sensors Engineer – Space Systems

Architect

• Develop technical proficiency in the area of submarine stability and propulsor.
• Acting as Propulsor TCG Lead, managing the long-term strategy for propulsor R&D to support design and development.
• Chair the Propulsor Working Group, develop Propulsor SQEP and provide SME guidance to project teams
• Conduct second party assurance reviews into Stability Key Hazard as a Naval Authority
• Reviewing Officer
• Support the R&D activities into submarine hydromechanics to ensure vessel safety and capability.
• Develop and maintain technical guidance and defence standards.
• Lead and manage graduate Naval Architect undertaking placements within the team.
• Manage international taskings and projects, with the expectation to travel in support
