Engineer

• Lead Safety Management activities for Project GOSHAWK.
• Provide general Safety Assurance & Governance (A&G) across the project.
• Develop and maintain safety documentation as required.
• Lead Trials Safety Management activities.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and range providers to ensure safe and successful trial execution.
• Work with DOSR, SSR, WESCOE and other stakeholders to develop trial plans and associated artefacts.

Safety Engineer – Project GOSHAWK

Manager

• Lead and coordinate safety management activity across elements of the Multi-Helicopter Delivery portfolio.
• Provide senior technical advice on system safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated aviation environment.
• Ensure safety considerations are fully embedded within requirements generation, design, modification and in-service support activities.
• Oversee the development, review and assurance of safety documentation, including hazard logs, safety cases and supporting artefacts.
• Apply and interpret Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulatory publications and relevant legislation, ensuring compliance and educating stakeholders where required.
• Lead the identification, management and mitigation of technical and safety risks.
• Manage integration with delivery teams, specialist engineers and external regulators to maximise safe and successful system implementation.
• Participate in and lead assurance, audit and review activities.
• Contribute to verification, validation and evaluation (V&V) activities from a safety perspective.
• Support lifecycle considerations including modification, sustainment and disposal planning from a safety and compliance standpoint.

Senior Safety Manager – Multi-Helicopter Delivery Platform

• Generate, update, review and endorse technical safety requirements and artefacts.
• Develop, manage and maintain effective Safety Management Systems.
• Identify and analyse hazards, evaluate risk reduction measures and ensure these are adequately documented and managed.
• Provide informed safety engineering advice across environmental and technical themes.
• Support Project Safety Panels and contribute to acquisition decision making.
• Manage contractual safety requirements and oversight of contractor safety activities.
• Support verification, validation, testing and evaluation of safety aspects.
• Develop and maintain safety assurance plans and support safety case preparation.
• Support policy and process development in line with corporate Acquisition Safety standards.
