About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end supply chain and freight operations
Coordinate domestic and international shipments of finished goods, sub-assemblies, and parts with Contract Manufacturers
Architect the company's long-term logistics strategy
Create shipping documents and shipping labels as operational volume demands
Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager on HTS, ECCN, and other classifications and import/export regulations
Manage logistics integrators, customs brokers, freight forwarders, express carrier operators, and trucking companies
Develop and maintain third-party logistics vendors' KPIs
Track shipment schedules and proactively inform stakeholders of delays
Maintain logistics expense reports and transit-time reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years as a seasoned logistician
Specific experience in a customs broker agency or freight forwarder agency
High exposure to international shipments
Proven track record working in a very fast-paced environment
Experience scaling operations from zero to one in a startup setting
Ability to partner with internal cross-functional leads and external global stakeholders
Ability to align multidisciplinary teams around logistics priorities, lead times, and regulatory compliance
Ability to balance high-level supply chain strategy with tactical document and process generation
Proficiency in Notion, Slack, and modern project management tools
Deep understanding of carrier operations, transit routes, and international shipping documentation for hardware and electronics
Authorization to work in the United States of America
