About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the selection, design, development and implementation of industrial automation systems for Manufacturing Operations Monitoring (MOM)
Work closely with numerous stakeholders at QCi across manufacturing, logistics, sales, finance, order fulfillment, purchasing and accounting
Lead system upgrades, patches, and configurations
Customize the operations systems to meet business requirements, such as integrating with other modules and improving workflows
Provide technical support to users, conducting training, and managing troubleshooting
Manage the entire lifecycle of MOM projects, from planning to execution
Apply appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology to manage development activities
Automate the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
Participate in the change management and service ticket management processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or related field
10+ years of experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing Environment
In depth technical knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems
Deep knowledge of specific ERP systems (e.g., DelTek, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Odoo, SYSPRO, SaaS)
Ability to closely collaborate with IT teams, manage vendors, and drive organizational change
Understanding business processes in manufacturing, finance, or supply chain
Excellent communication skills for liaising between stakeholders and IT teams
