About the role
- Develop the software for the company's Quantum Computing SDK
- Work independently with remote and cross-functional teams (software, hardware, logic)
- Participate in all technical aspects of software development from design to delivery
- Maintain high standards of software methodology, clean code, and CI
- Enable customers to configure systems, calibrate qubits, perform quantum operations, and run higher-level quantum programs (e.g., OpenQASM3)
- Create production-grade Python products that shape quantum computing control systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of SW development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on Python experience
- Experience writing and maintaining production code for large systems
- Deep understanding of design patterns, systems & SW architecture
- Proven track record handling code review, testing, and system integration
- Proven experience providing open source code (strong advantage)
- B.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Sciences, EE, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Capable of executing under uncertainty in a dynamic environment
- Passionate about technology and driven by challenges
- Enjoy working in a cross-geography, multi-site environment
