About the role

  • Write and rewrite compelling, high-impact copy for web pages, email campaigns, paid media ads, and video scripts.
  • Maintain and evolve a distinctive and empathetic brand voice across all channels.
  • Turn complex technical topics into clear, human, and scroll-stopping storytelling for engineers and physicists.
  • Own execution of the content calendar across owned and earned media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Programs Manager, design, and product marketing teams to produce compelling content.
  • Work with technical subject matter experts to translate complex input into publishable content.
  • Support brand and marketing efforts for Quantum Machines' hybrid control systems for quantum computing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in copywriting or content roles, with a strong focus on marketing and branding in the deep tech industry.
  • A versatile portfolio showcasing ability to create a wide range of marketing assets for different channels and audiences.
  • Native English speaker - a must.
  • Technical academic background or experience in physics, engineering, or a related technical field is a big plus.
  • Proficiency in learning, understanding, and communicating complex scientific and engineering concepts.
  • Experience with hardware products is a plus.
  • Skilled at working with technical subject matter experts to translate complex input into publishable content.
  • Creative with proven ability to ideate and execute efficiently.
  • Experience building or stewarding a brand voice and flexing it for different channels and audiences.
  • Comfortable producing long-form blog posts, short CTAs, landing page headlines, email campaigns, paid media ads, and video scripts.
  • Collaborative team player, customer-obsessed, and driven by efficient execution.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience using analytics to measure content performance and inform strategy.
