About the role
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs
- Build and maintain event-driven and streaming solutions
- Ensure service interoperability and standardization
- Work extensively with containerized applications
- Design, develop, and optimize database schemas and queries
- Deploy and manage applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Apply Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
- Implement automated testing strategies
- Participate actively in Agile delivery practices
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and optimize application and platform performance
- Monitor and support application observability and operational health
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Java & Spring-Based Service Development
- 5+ years experience in Event‑Driven Architecture & Messaging
- 5+ years experience in Microservices & Containerization
- 5+ years experience in Database Expertise
- 5+ years experience with TMF Forum Standards
- Working knowledge of CI/CD & Test Automation
- Experience with Observability & Service Monitoring
- Advanced experience with Event Streaming & Messaging (Kafka)
- General understanding of Cloud & Platform Awareness
- Strong experience in Service Testing & API Validation
- Foundational understanding of Containerization & Deployment Platforms
