About the role
- Develop software tools to facilitate quantum error correction research in fault-tolerant compilation, error modeling, decoding, and resource estimation
- Conduct theoretical and computational research in quantum error correction
- Interface with software and compiler teams to guide the design of the software stack for large quantum computers
- Conduct research in Quantum Error Correction, and implement demonstrations on the world’s most powerful quantum computers
Requirements
- PhD Minimum (prior to start date)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience (PhD inclusive)
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
